Enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account for 2026?
If you're enrolled (or re-enrolled) for additional benefits like the Health Flexible Spending Account or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, you should already have available balances to utilize this year.
If you didn't claim your entire allotment last year - don't forget to double check your claim deadline and use any funds remaining before the date listed.
The Health Flexible Spending Account even has a FSA Store connected through the app to make FSA approved purchases. From skin care, eye care, and pain relief - there are hundreds of items to choose from.

Brook Lowther - County Administrative Office
Brook Lowther has been employed as a County Executive Officer Assistant – Confidential since July 2022. As previously mentioned in Brook’s Employee of the Month nomination, Brook has consistently demonstrated high quality customer service through her engaging interactions with representatives from County Departments, members of the public, and anyone trying to connect directly with the County Executive Officer. In many respects, Brook is the face of the County Administrative Office as she is often the first person people engage with, either in-person, via email, or over the phone. Brook effectively resolves conflicts and exceeds standards in answering questions and providing assistance both to internal and external customers. Brook’s ability to be a positive influence and boost morale is second to none and highly appreciated.
Brook has continued to demonstrate her high-quality customer services since her designation of Employee of the Month in March 2025. Brook strives to be a positive influence in the workplace and is appreciated by all those she supports within and outside of her department. Brook is a true asset to the County Administrative team and embodies all the positive attributes and skills one would expect of an exceptional Shasta County employee.
